game.exe missing

Hi there,
I updated DTA and since then I cannot play anymore. Error message says "cannot find game.exe". I uninstalled the game, downloaded the newest version from moddb and tried to install. But there comes a error message that says: "too many retries for downloading game.exe".

Any ideas?

Hi,

Most likely you have an antivirus software that detects game.exe as a false-positive. Try whitelisting DTA, or DTA's folder, in your antivirus software.

Also, if you feel like spending a bit more effort, you can report game.exe to your antivirus software vendor as a false-positive.
