XCC picks up the path from registry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Red Alert 2]
"InstallPath"="YourDrive:\YourPathToRedAlert2\RA2.EXE"

Replace the path in registry with your actual path.

In order to get the registry, you'll need to install the game from:
-Origin (online)
-Original Version (the 2 CDs)

Only one pirated version where you run the CD's setup does add the installed game to the registry, but still, the game will punish you for downloading a cracked version of it, otherwise, it won't add a registry file if you just crack a ready-to-play version.

Not having registry entry could also be because of re-installing OS or just copying old installation from old hard disk or other machine etc. without installation. In such cases game would work but XCC can't find the installed folders.
