50% of the way complete with the Octoblade
Subject description: I am so happy
For a really long time I have wanted a Baneblade but have never wanted to put the money an time into it. I do not know why, but I decided to do it. And if I was going to do it, I was going to go big or go home.
I decided to spend the extra money go for the fully loaded Octoblade.
This has currently cost me - $184.00
- Astra Militarum Baneblade - $127.93
- The Magnet Baron - Baneblade Magnetizing Kit × 1 - $23.83
- Baneblade Sponsons & Accessories - $32.24
I have been working on this project slowly for the past month. Watching you tube videos and looking at tutorials on how to do this.
I will say its not to hard. It does take time. It does take some creativity if you want to do the magnetization differently, which I did. I may have went a little lazy with the magnetization. But it works. I still have a few magnets left over, but I am fine the way it is.
Now its time to paint the darn thing... Once that is completed I might show, I am not a great painter... I am just doing this for fun.

That's a big old beast & with a lot of options! I just got my first WH40K kit last week (Space Marine Razorback), I usual build 1/35 scale WW2 stuff but I though I'd try something different for a change. I look forward to seeing the Baneblade completed. _________________
The paint scheme will look some thing like my Leman Russ. Because of my poor painting skills, and refusal to use an air brush for painting, I try to paint it like its war torn.
