OS SHP Builder RoadMap
Subject description: Last Update: 01/04/2006
Features that I plan to bring to Open Source SHP Builder during its versions. It's important to remind that I can change my mind easily on this, so don't take it to heart:
3.3x
- Mass frame operations
- Flood Fill with Gradient
- More image effects
3.4x
- Primary Object Engine (object selection, saving objects, removing objects, transporting objects, custom templates, etc...)
- re-engineering of copy and paste mode (fixing current, flood and fill selection and special selection)
- Glowing Edges (required for Final Dawn development)
- Higher quality resize.
- New design?
3.5x < scrapped?>
- Improve PCX support.
- Internal SHP Viewer, for the Open SHP, etc...
3.6x
- Fast Image Effects & Image Effects
- Image Effects re-engineering and custom user effects.
- Custom Import Schemes
3.7x
- linear transformations (added, so I can study for uni ). Rotations, resizing, stretching and doing the hell to the selected area.
- Image subtraction, adition, dilate, erode, etc...
3.8x
- Change of SHP to Document support
- TMP (TS) Support
- SHP Project Saving
3.9x
- Implementatoion of 4.x design with separate window for tools, tool options, frame with zoom, palettes, special file options (specially for TMP)
- tool options
4.x (OS Modding Studio)
- Voxel support and 3D Basic Tools with support for OpenGL
- copy as a new shp, new selection, layer, templates.
- Trapezoid
- 3D objects, like sphere, torus, cube, cilynder, etc...
- mix writting and reading
- return of autoshadows

Roadmap has been updated now. The features I couldnt do in 3.x will be done in 4.x + the TMP support.
I plan a full remake for version 4, so we can have an engine supporting multiples file types, multiples layers, which we'll need to have TMP support. And also, I hope this remake makes the program a lot faster than it currently is, since we've never dealt with events properly.
3.x is discontinued. 4.x might never exist, although the development will be continued even if the name of the program changes (since it won't only edit SHP ) _________________

Ok, I've remade the plans. OS Modding Studio is the name of the 4.x.... the 1.x and 2.x were called BS SHP Builder. 3.x is OS SHP Builder and 4.x will be OS Modding Studio, however, the OS Modding Studio is very revolutionary for the current era, therefore I must adapt the current program into it in parts. The next 3.x versions will be the adaptation to 4.x's requirements... Therefore expect a lot of 3.x and the 4.x might only appear by the next year... maybe.
But never trust the roadmap blindly, because I can always change my plans... _________________

I read the news, it doesn't explain, at least as far as I can see, how you are accepting payments.
If you expect to get money you'll need to make this very clear and easy for every user.
You may also want to fix the names on the roadmap, what with the programs no longer being open source. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
