I snagged it a while back. Its fun, it is pretty much similiar to Diablo in terms of gameplay..and graphics sort of..It does have some dated quality to it. Which is nice.  It also has Westwood's quirkiness with the story and presentation.

There are some interesting stuff. Surprised no one has made graphics ports for C&C modes. Some of the creature/character models and animations are pretty cool.

There are wolves, ants, giant scorpions, spiders and staple creatures. Zombies, Skeletons and even Orcs!

Also move away when you kill a ogre. #Tongue

Yeah I betcha there are some graphical goodies in there that wouldn't be too hard to port to C&C

Apollo tried at some point, but Nox doesn't use .SHP files for the animations, instead it uses separated .PCX and every frame has a different canvas size which makes causes the animation to "shake" if they're converted straight.

Nox uses kind of a coded compiler to mix 'em together properly. They're convertable, but it's very time consuming because you need to "de-shake" every frame/animation.

However, all animations share the same palette. You can ask more about that from Apollo.
