Minecraft: Story Mode is released

I couldn't get the game yet but it looks a good game. I watched DanTDM's videos about it. He finished first episode in 4 videos(About 2 Hour.). What do you guys think? I'm waiting for next episodes. I'll download it i can find time. It'll be five episode.

Minecraft has gotten old and boring, I am some what shocked that this game is still around... I guess that's why its trying to find new niches...

In fact, Minecraft: Story Mode isn't by mojang. They just gave the copyrights and Telltale Games made the real game.

I play minecraft just for testing new things in 1.9. I don't have enough time to just play something.

Of course it's still around, it was only last year when Microsoft acquired Mojang and Minecraft. Aside from that, I agree. I used to play Minecraft when it was still in alpha, and for a while after it entered beta. Gradually I lost interest and now I haven't touched it in years.

You should try the lastest versions Crimsonium. Lots of stuff added to game since beta. In fact i started to play Minecraft at 1.2.5. I can say too much thing changed even for me.

Edit: I just finished playing the Story Mode. It has a good story. That was not much exciting because i already watched all of it. I hope they'll release new episodes asap.

I think Minecraft's audience has changed. Back when it was in alpha, a lot of young (age 15-30) people were very interested in it. Now it seems to be more of a game for children. As usual though, looking at the people around me doesn't make a reliable study, but that's how I see it #Tongue

I used to run the village's community centre. Back at mid-2013 when I started, the local kids abused the webspots to play some sort of an Unity-based? web-only generic RLinspired FPS - Counter Strike, CoD, Urban Terror they all look the same to me - but that quickly faded when these custom Minecraft servers got in.

IIRC the takeover was around in early 2014, so yea, that's pretty much the timeframe where these kids got into.
