EDIT: This happens upon opening a voxel, closing the program, attempting any action, any tool. Hinders me... a lot.

How do you attempt any tool after you close the program?

Anyway, the address mentioned in the access violation doesn't help me at all.

Could you explain which Windows version do you use? Also, which version of Voxel Section Editor III are you using? Finally, does it happens with a specific voxel file or any voxel file?

v1.29.219 or v1.39.219.

Access violations may be due to placing only the beta exe file on an older installation folder of
1.36/1.38 versions.

Try installing the latest version on an empty folder and allow the exe to download its support files.
Or get the full package from svn:
http://svn.ppmsite.com/dl.php?repname=OS+Voxel+Tools&isdir=1
