Mirrored to suit competitive online play.

I recorded a game of decent players, not quite equal skill level but enjoyable. I did a minor mistake while recording but it should be watchable.

cut n paste?? Do you mean I copied another map??

I still have some security saves of the map making progress if that's the case...

I've put alot of time and work into this (I had to learn the whole map making progress from scratch), so please don't tell me I cut and pasted maps..

I'll just take the "pretty nice looking map" as a compliment either way Wink

That looks very good for your first map. I suggest you utilize more slopes in the future to reduce the completely flat areas a bit however.

Thanks for your critique!

I actually plan to use less slopes in the follow up maps. You see.. This map is made for online play, not just a beautiful picture for people to look at on a forum. If you watch the video I posted with it you can get a sense of how this game is played. If I block the room to the expand spots then nobody will ever play it.

I knew we'd have a conflict of interest here but I figured I'd still post it as it's one of the first online-play-maps that's visually appealing. And to get feedback / tips on how to improve it. But yeah.. I always have to balance visuals and gameplay here and for myself gameplay is always on top.

As for XTX, it looks awesome! I'd love to use it aswell but only if cnc:net adds it into their vanilla ts so people can play on it. Gameplay and availablity are my priorities on maps. If it looks nice that's a welcome bonus Smile
