Audio Files for Kodiak, Montauk, and Others
Hey, guys! As I mentioned on ModDB, I saw the plans to install the Kodiak and Montauk and immediately thought that the voices of CABAL, Slavik, McNeil, EVA, and other notable figures might be fitting to use as the unit voices.
I extracted the original audio from the game itself and from Youtube clips of the briefing videos of both Tiberian Sun and Firestorm.
I have made use of XCC, VQAtoAVI, Youtube, and MP3 Editor For Free to extract, correct, modify, and prepare the files as .wavs, and compiled them into a WinRAR folder attached here. I added fade effects to the beginning and end of the video extract files and did my best to correct for audio 'pops.'
I have included multiple files for selection.
Personally, I think it is fitting to use the files which played during Kane's return for Nod Briefing 5 (i.e., when he roars "Kane...lives!" and chants "One vision, one purpose!") and the files from the first GDI briefing (i.e., "General Solomon on secure channel 4," "Good to see you again, Mac.") for the appropriate units.
Note: You will need to download all 5 attachments and open the first package to view the files!
