After some talk with Apollo and a detailed explanation on some of the issues that were annoying him and other users of the program, I've made a quick edit on the OS SHP Builder.

Also, there is a new save option at the preferences that forces shadow frames to be saved as compression 1. Use it only if you create buildings (height > 255 or width > 255) with custom foundations that Ares allows, because the RA2 engine gets bugged with compression 3 buildings of this size... at least with the ones generated by XCC Mixer and OS SHP Builder.

I'm not really a fan of editing OS SHP Builder, because the code is really horrible. It was created in a moment when stucuk and I were not familiar with object oriented code.

Anyway, unlike VXLSE III, OS SHP Builder does not have an auto-installer that download the required files from the web included, so you need to install this version over an existing installation of OS SHP Builder 3.36.

Got some bug with it. I get an exception error when opening it and an I/O error when I tried to close it.

Cause it's just an executable, you need the other files as well. As Banshee, altough not in the most precise way possible said it in his first post, you need to install (read: put the new executable in place of an old one) it over an older version of SHP Builder 3.36.
