ETS does not work. Help, anybody?
Well i'm trying to get the features of ETS to work but none of them actually works, i've done everything the MDK says and launched the game in Multiplayer Debug Mode, i've changed "MouseCursors" to "ActionTypes" but nothing works like it should. The Superweapons just recharge..
I'm using the Free TS download, since there's a scratch on pretty much all of my Tiberian Sun CDs and i'm playing with my own little personal mod, which never caused any IEs or anything.
Anybody know how to get ETS to work? If it even ever worked? QUICK_EDIT
some stuff I could get working easily, other stuff I couldn't figure out. Perhaps post what your trying to do so the more experienced modders can help you. QUICK_EDIT
I got superweapons working... it was actually pretty easy.
Can you please post a screenshot example? And tell me what you did.
And i'm trying to get all of the features in the "MDK" to work. I'm 100% sure i've done everything right, but none of the superweapons work. I've just changed the Temple of Nod's Superweapon to Meteor Shower and Spy Sat, but they just recharge. And i'm pretty sure the "AACombat", "Upgrade" and "Tertiary and Quartiery" tags don't work either (I've tried that out too). QUICK_EDIT

spysat super should work as stated in the mdk, i think as do ter, quad and aacombat the latter of which you need a quick hand to select other aircraft and the weapon also needs an aa tag on it _________________ Creator of TS:BoB and some other things that might be good when finnished. QUICK_EDIT

Okay, well i gave the Orca Fighter, Harpy and Banshee the AACombat tag, and their weapon projectiles also have "AA=yes" but they don't attack other aircraft, or Jumpjet Troopers. I've only tried getting my Harpy too force fire on the ground an another one force fire on the first harpy, but it refuses to attack.
I'm pretty sure ETS doesn't work for me. QUICK_EDIT

Well if ets isnt working try the download, I had lots of problems with the ETS installer
These should all work.
Right looking at one of my mods you can try this.

[Invisible2] (i think this was a clone of invisible, its only used solely by the Harpy as it was an attempt to make it more usfull aa an anti-air unit than the orca

you might need a quick hand to target other aircraft as they dont do it automaticaly
As for superweapons, have a look at these they all work and there are examples of different mouse cursors.
clocking is the power off? mouse cursor
cant remember
heal area is the engineers repair building cursor
Drop is the same as the droppod one
quad and tertiary weapons do work i remember testing them as for that i have not managed to fuly test them so far.
Hope this has been of some help, heck i forgot how much i missed this part of modding i should realy dust of BoB and realise an ETS beta version while im waiting for the HP

I think its the "ETSLauncher" EXE file that doesn't work, the EXE he sent me made all of the features work, and i don't think there are any more errors in the MDK than writing "MouseCursors" when its actually supposed to be "ActionTypes".
But i must say, it feels alittle sloppy. And none of the Firestorm Cutscenes work only the Tiberian Sun ones . But other than that everything works like it should, no IEs so far . QUICK_EDIT
