Seems kind of a waste to have a heli with no rotors. That would be kind of wierd seeing heli's flying around without them CCHyper should implement that into his HyperPatch _________________

Recent research proved that rotors can be implemented in TS, just you can't have armed helis with rotors.
- These units also can't be targeted by enemy anti-aircraft
- These units must be built from a war factory and not from a helipad
- These units will have movement bugs
Seriously, the method SuperJoe came up with was clever and a step closer to an annoying problem being solved but it's not the right method for adding rotors into Tiberian Sun! It has too many critical issues which must not be overlooked, which a lot of you seem to be forgetting. QUICK_EDIT
So where does the Rotor= and CustomRotors= tags fit in. Are these like tags that date back to RA1 and Westwood just continued to carry them over with no effect? I see they are in RA2 and YR Art.ini's also. So then leads me to my next question, In Art.ini next to Rotor= it says "does this aircraft have an attached rotor anim?" So by that, is it possible to attach an active anim to an aircraft possibly? _________________

THey are not that bad indeed but the normals as you said suck quite a lot. Last version of voxel editor has good auto normalizer thougt. You should give it a try.
Some of the aircraft have to uniform texture sor tey look too mush toyish. You should add a few details. QUICK_EDIT
Well, why don't you take just one of these voxels - the GDI AH-64, for example - and focus on making it more detailed. Use different colour shades to highlight details or create shadows, and play around with different weapon loadouts. Post in-game shots of your progress, and we will try to give you some feedback and advice as you work. Wow, the new Raptor is much better! Do one of the heli's now.
EDIT: actually, make the cockpit glass a dark grey/black instead of the light colour it is at the moment. The lightness there makes it look as if the pilot has a storm lantern with him to read his map or something. _________________ Adapt or die QUICK_EDIT
If you think that you're making them worse then I have a serious suggestion: Move on. I'm certain that you've learned some technique from these, and some of them are really quite good already (A10! yay ).
Use your skills to produce something else - What ever you choose, I'll be interested to see how you create it.
Hehe... It looks like it is humping the poor Nod Helipad...
Here's a tip: try making voxels that would actually fit in with how TS uses them, e.g. aircraft voxels need to have a flattish base to allow them to land, else it looks odd. Also, if the voxel uses a yellow scheme, do not post in-games where the player colour is also yellow - this confuses the position of the remap zones, and makes it harder for us to see what is actually going on. _________________ Adapt or die QUICK_EDIT

Anyway, damn lazy WW I mean even Ra1 had rotors, or TD, and they spin in 2 times, one when flying and a slower one when is landed. Yeah TD and Ra1 are better made... QUICK_EDIT
