BIG BIG news from EA for the C&C Generals community...

EA have just release the source code to Command & Conquer Generals/Zero Hour at https://github.com/electronicarts/CnC_Generals_Zero_Hour It is not the complete source code as there were things EA couldn't legally release due to copyright but its all the important bits.

It also includes https://github.com/electronicarts/CnC_Modding_Support which includes other stuff for Generals including a bunch of unreleased internal maps.

Also, both Generals and Zero Hour now have Steam Workshop support.

Well is pretty cool, I wish they would release RA2 source code.

Unfortunately EA lost the TS and RA2 source code when they moved office, so it will probably never be released unless someone magically stumbles upon a 25 year old data tape in a box somewhere.
