Hi, i want to learn how to create cut and paste buildings for Tiberian Revenge: KRC. Are there any guides or tutorials? What do i need, XCC mixer and what else? How to start? I dont really know anything except .ini edits for CnCNet maps.

something like that:

For any one who doesnt know TR, asking why im putting this in the RA2 Forum: Tiberian Revenge: KRC is a total conversion mod for YR into TS

Its just a matter of using an image editor like Photoshop or Gimp to cut up and paste together different parts of buildings to make something new.

It only requires basic image editing skills so so there aren't really any guides.

You might need XCC mixer if you want to extract existing buildings to start with... and a paint program. I've used MSpaint, JASC Paint shop pro, and Photoshop to do CNP buildings.

Just extract the buildings and start mixing and matching stuff.

You do have significantly more limitations than doing 3D, but its a fun exercise to see what ideas you can come up with.
