Internal Error Unable to Continue Normally

I am running a boot camped macbook pro with windows 7 64 bit installed. When I try to run this game I get a pop up that says "The Dawn of the Tiberium Age has encountered an internal error and is unable to continue as normal." I downloaded the updated draw file for the WCE mentioned in another post. This did change how the message displayed, a pop up on a black screen vs. just a pop up on my desktop, but it did not fix the issue.

Any advice?

You don't have to download any dll yourself.
DTA comes already with different ddraw.dll files.
Start the client, and select under options a different "Renderer". Try them all one by one to find one that works for you.

The client won't start. I've tried both the "game" application and the "dawn" application. The game one gives me the above mentioned error. The dawn one does crashes with what appears to be a more complex error.

What's the error when you start DTA.exe?
You can't start the game via game.exe anymore. You have to start the client first.

Give detailed infos of the client crash. What exactly does the error message show?
There is a crash log in the Client subfolder. Upload the file here.

Make sure the full version of .NET Framework 4 is installed. The error message most likely mentions this as well.

The error thrown by the DTA Application is as follows:

"KABOOOOOOOM

Dawn of the Tiberium Age has crashed. Error message:

HRESULT: [0x887A0004], Module: [SharpDX.DXGI], ApiCode:
[DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED/Unsupported], Message: Unknown

If this issue is repeatable, contact the DTA staff at
Ppmforums.com/index.php?f=504"

I doubled checked and my computer seems to have the most up to date version of this.

Do you have DirectX installed? It looks like your graphics card either doesn't support DirectX or you don't have it installed.

"Do you have DirectX installed? It looks like your graphics card either doesn't support DirectX or you don't have it installed."

It wasn't DirectX but I needed to get a different driver for my video card. Once I started digging into the directx possibility it showed me my driver issue. Thank you!
