It's ironic that some of what he said actually gets confirmed in C&C4 (with the exception being that Kane is an "alien"), but never before that. Weird.

not cannon its just "in his mind". his story telling sucks 3 - 4 games with kane from old WW and never anything like this explained. he calls it a "mystery" a lame ass excuse to never develope any sort of decent story whatsoever and feed of fans to go buy the next game.

kane is just the typical bold villan.

Ask him about Kane being in Red Alert and its soviet ending. It contradicts some of the things he said like Kane not meddling with the world until Tiberium was found.

Yeah, I liked it more when his story climaxed in a blank white room where he ascended in an asshole portal drawn with purple crayons. And we could still see his divine boots on the other side.

I agree with Volgin. All the stuff about Kane's goals and whatnot just show how weak he is as a character, which is obvious. A man hell bent on world domination or similar is not interesting, but his mystery is. And then all the crap about tying the two storylines together...
