Plans for modding SCII?

Hey all. I'm posting this out of curiosity for what you all plan when Starcraft II actually does come out.

Do you plan on modifying the game?
If so, what extent do you want to take the game to? (Changing everything, or a tweak mod?)
Anyone here planning a major mod for Starcraft II/Total conversion?
Anyone here actually messed around with the Starcraft II Galaxy editor? If so, how is it?
Are there any mappers out there planning on making some maps for SCII?

I myself am not a Starcraft fan at all. The engine though has a lot of potential and will be very fun to see what it's capable of. So, I will be modding it. Smile

1.) Yes, I do plan to mod the hell out of SC2.
2.) I'm going to be part of a Total Conversion.
3.) Answers itself with 2.
4.) Imagine the best editor for a game ever. SCII Galaxy Editor FTW. :v
5.) I'll be trying my hand out in mapping.

1.Yes
2.Everything, from simple games, personal mods to original IP.?
3.Yes/perhaps
4.At this time I have not.
5.I may do some mapping as well.

I knew good ol' Hyper couldn't resist doing some exe modifications. Wink

not really SCII modding but the importer works flawlessly...
best thing is that all movement data is stored in one file and not in a thousand files ^^

I plan on making maps for the game. I already played some games on the beta (too bad it's over now).

The galaxy editor.. I think I'll love it once I'm done getting familiar with the complex thing it has become, compared to WCIII's world editor, which I already love.

Didn't do much with it yet, except place two giant armies in front of each other and push the "test document" button.
Which I assume everyone does when they open a map editor for the first time.

yes I know, I've been playing again. It's a tough game though.
But if I can get good at it that would be awesome! And then there's modding this game... the possibilities should be limitless.
I've heard of guys already making 1st person shooters with it including mouselook and everything.
I'm REALLY looking forward to the game's release!

And mapping was still available when the beta was closed..
you just couldn't login when you started up the game.
However i could still make maps and click test, and thus, play.
