For us chums who don't own CNC3, I was wondering if it could be in any ways possible to use material in the CNC3 battlecast viewer to make CNC3 maps a la worldbuilder.
I'm even assuming the Battlecast viewer would have all the terrain, features, etc. needed - but at more than a gigabyte, I'd find it believable that it might just have everything we'd need for it.
I wouldn't have the slightest idea as to what such a process would require, or how difficult it would be, but I figured it would be good to put out there anyways for what it's worth.

I dont think it would. I have yet to download it, but i would think the files would be compiled in a different way just encase someone else had your idea #Tongue

The answer is no, the battlecast viewer does not contain enough information to make the worldbuilder work.
